My latest endeavour is writing epubs so I can publish my tutorials in another format. As the files are currently in PDF form I have to rewrite them in xhtml as they have to be written up as web pages. As is always the case with anything to do with computers, this is more of a pain than I first envisaged.

Did I shoot myself in the foot, I wonder?
I was approached by Lark books recently and asked to submit my book necklace design to be included in a book to be published later this year. I submitted the design which was accepted. So that was nice. However, when I read the contract closely, I realised I couldn't agree with it as it was, and they didn't want to change it. So that was that. If I'd signed, I'd have lost all rights over the design. Boo, hoo! Enough of that. Here's the book:

Book from Tallin 1539
A while ago I wrote a tutorial on how to make a Mediaeval book from Tallin, Estonia. I was really pleased today to see some of the fantastic books made by a group of bookbinders in Holland. The link to the website is here:
