Blue Felty Book Necklace Pendant

This is my latest version of the 'Book Necklace'. I've made a matching box to go with it. This is a real book and you can write in it so it's nice for a present for someone you love!

Book from Tallin 1539

A while ago I wrote a tutorial on how to make a Mediaeval book from Tallin, Estonia. I was really pleased today to see some of the fantastic books made by a group of bookbinders in Holland. The link to the website is here:
www.bbc-hetoudeambacht.nl
If you click on "Collage" in the left column, and then on "16e eeuws Tallin boek" you can see them all. There are some fine books on this website.

Valentine's Book in Masu box

Here is my latest book design, a teeny, tiny little Valentine, love message book, with a matching masu box.

The front cover reads: LOVE YOU

The back cover reads: REAL LOVE

The pages read: I L O V E Y O U

This would make a delightful surprise gift for the one you love.

Bookbinding Workshop at Artsway

I've been working on photo albums on and off, a project I've been putting off for several years. I'm writing a tutorial on the subject and in March I'm running a  workshop at Artsway, a contemporary art gallery in the New Forest.

Meanwhile, I'm still working on another tutorial on the Nag Hammadi Codex. Hopefully this will be finished soon.
